Terms and Conditions
Transportation
Transportation service is subject to a minimum of 6 guests requesting transportation for the same trip. This doesn’t mean that you have to have all six guests in your party; you can simply join other guests from other groups that need transportation as well. In the event that the minimum amount required is not met, you have the option paying for the spots that are not filled.
Cancellation Policy
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy for all of our trips. Up until 48 hours until your pick-up time you may cancel your reservation without penalty. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to (but not on same day) pick-up time will be charged a simple fee of $25/per person to cover our fixed costs. No-shows or cancellations made on the same day of the trip will receive full charge. All cancellations must be made by telephone directly with FineLine Excursions.
Due to the unique nature, and small size of our groups, we are forced to remain quite firm about our cancellation policies. Consider that on a given day you have a reservation with us, we are there, onsite, waiting and ready to serve you. Regardless of the cancellation reasons, our time and fixed cost is already invested; we may even have turned down other customers by holding your space. Thus it's easy to see why we must remain so firm regarding our cancellation policies.
Trips are subject to change
One of the things that we enjoy the most about our trips is that everyday on the water, in the rainforest or anywhere in Puerto Rico, is a different experience. According to the specific weather conditions for any given day a trip may vary slightly from our advertised offerings. Everyday our tour guides will select the route that they believe will be the most fun and enjoyable for the whole group. Some days a given trip may do an additional stop beyond what is advertised, at the same time, that trip may do one less stop than what is advertised. For that reason, we encourage you to choose your trips based on the rough descriptions provided here on our website and simply trust us to provide you with a wonderful experience.
Some days may be slightly different than other days, but that is because our guides are extensively knowledgeable of the areas that we visit and we may be mixing it up a little bit to provide you with the best experience possible.
Weather related cancellations
If we cancel a tour due to weather, you will not be charged. We make all the determinations about weather cancellations however, so please don't make the mistake of deciding you're not going to come because you think the weather might not be acceptable, as you will be charged if the trip goes out. (It can be raining where you are and sunny at the tour location!) If, at any time you have a question about the weather conditions, please call us to be sure.

Restrictions
Guest with physical conditions, pregnant women, or those who have epilepsy, back problems, heart conditions, or dizziness are not allowed to participate in our kayaking and Mini Boat tours. Maximum weight allowed per kayak is 485 pounds. Guests participating in our Rainforest Hiking Tour must be in good physical condition and able to complete a brisk 1.5 hr hike.
